“Turning Red”: the Pixar film will be presented exclusively on Disney Plus

Another Pixar movie skips a theatrical release and heads straight to streaming: Turn red will be presented exclusively on Disney + on Friday, March 11.

The film centers on Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang), “a confident and stupid 13-year-old teenager torn between remaining her mother’s devoted daughter and the chaos of adolescence,” according to the official synopsis. “Her protective, if not mildly bossy mother, Ming (Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter – a sad reality for the teenager. And as if the changes in her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, every time she gets too aroused (which is practically always), she “poof” in a giant red panda! “
